As part of the Annual Two-Day Teachers’ Training, held on 8 and 10 September 2026, teachers from schools in Paphos and Limassol participated in experiential seminars delivered through the Access Career project, implemented by The Learning Edge.
On 8 September, teachers from ST Primary School of Paphos (Kato Paphos) took part in the seminar “Peer Support: A Key to Strengthening Relationships and Teacher Wellbeing,” organised in collaboration with Neapolis University. On 10 September, the seminar was delivered for teachers from Primary School IB – Lanitio KA and KB.
Led by Elena Xeni, Project Manager of Access Career, the sessions focused on the role of positive collegial relationships in supporting teachers’ wellbeing, collaboration and sense of belonging. Participants explored the PERMA model, exchanged experiences from their educational practice, discussed good practices in collegiality and co-designed practical initiatives to strengthen peer support within their school communities.
The activities highlighted the importance of professional development, supportive relationships and lifelong learning in creating healthier and more sustainable educational environments. Through Access Career, The Learning Edge continues to support educators in developing the knowledge, skills and supportive environments they need throughout their professional careers.
