TAKE5: 5 Minutes to Transform Basic Skills and Build Key Competences
Occupation-specific skills alone are insufficient for VET learners, as key competences and basic skills are essential for adaptability, lifelong learning, employability, social inclusion, and supporting the green and digital transitions, yet EU policy goals in this area are far from being met.
The overall strategic aim of the TAKE5 project is to create an inclusive and dynamic learning environment that fosters engagement, skill development and confidence among VET learners while equipping educators with innovative digital pedagogical tools.
The main objectives of the TAKE-5 Project are, to:
- motivate and inspire young VET learners to engage with vocational education and training through interaction with specially constructed embedded-learning challenge-based resources
- build basic skills essential for integration into the workforce and future vocational success
- build the self-confidence and self-esteem of VET learners and support them in how to learn and study
- equip VET educators with robust digital pedagogy and new learning didactics to support digital and online learning
