Access Career Launches Its First Newsletter: Advancing Equal Access to Career Guidance Services Across Europe
The Access Career project proudly presents the inaugural edition of its newsletter, marking the first steps towards strengthening equitable access to career guidance services throughout Europe.
Co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme, Access Career brings together partners from Spain, Belgium, Italy, Greece, and Cyprus to modernise career guidance systems by equipping career counsellors with enhanced skills, tools, and inclusive methodologies.
This first issue highlights key milestones, including the successful kick-off meeting in Valladolid, Spain, and the completion of a comprehensive needs assessment report. Through surveys, focus groups, and field research, the project identified critical gaps, challenges, and training needs faced by both counsellors and job seekers — particularly from vulnerable groups.
The project now enters its next phase: the co-creation of a user-friendly, modular training programme for career counsellors, supported by digital tools and inclusive strategies.
Stay tuned with the Access Career website, offering resources, updates, and training material to support impactful, future-ready career guidance across Europe.
