AccessCareer Multiplier Event Highlights Inclusive Career Guidance in Cyprus

The AccessCareer Multiplier Event was successfully held at CASA College in Cyprus on 29 September, bringing together more than 25 participants to learn about the project and explore its work on inclusive career guidance and career self-management.

The event introduced participants to the AccessCareer project, its objectives, activities and key results, with a particular focus on the resources developed to strengthen career guidance and support individuals in navigating education, skills development and employment opportunities. Discussions also highlighted the importance of making career guidance more accessible, inclusive and responsive to the needs of people who may face barriers to entering or progressing in the labour market.

Participants had the opportunity to explore the project’s approach and consider how the developed resources could be used by career counsellors, employment professionals, educators and other relevant practitioners. The resources can also support job seekers and individuals in taking a more active role in managing their own career pathways.

As part of the event, more than 25 participants completed pre- and post-event surveys. Their feedback provided valuable insights into participants’ perspectives before and after the session and contributed to the evaluation of the activity and the project’s final results.

The event also contributed to the wider dissemination of AccessCareer in Cyprus, providing an opportunity to engage relevant stakeholders, raise awareness of the project’s work and encourage the continued use of its resources beyond the project’s lifetime.

The AccessCareer project, Enhancing Inclusive Access to Career Counselling, is co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme. The project focuses on strengthening inclusive career guidance and career self-management, particularly for socially disadvantaged groups, by developing resources and approaches that can help make career support more accessible and effective.
