TAKE5 Project Officially Launched: Partners Unite to Transform Digital Learning in VET
The Learning Edge successfully participated in the kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ project TAKE5, held over two days in Schwerin, Germany, bringing together all project partners to lay the foundations for a collaborative and impactful implementation phase.
The overall strategic aim of TAKE5 is to create an inclusive and dynamic learning environment that fosters engagement, skill development, and confidence among Vocational Education and Training (VET) learners, while equipping educators with innovative digital pedagogical tools. The project seeks to motivate and inspire young VET learners through challenge-based, embedded learning resources; build essential basic skills for labour market integration; strengthen learners’ self-confidence and learning-to-learn competences; and support VET educators with robust digital pedagogy and new learning didactics for online and blended learning.
During the meeting, partners focused on establishing strong project management foundations, including financial procedures, digital tools, and risk and quality assurance plans. Discussions also addressed impact management and aligned dissemination and sustainability strategies, covering project branding, website development, and social media outreach. The second day concentrated on core project outputs, notably the development of the learning outcomes matrix and digital badge framework (WP2), as well as the structure of the in-service training programme for VET professionals (WP3).
As a key milestone, all partners are now ready to proceed with Work Package 2, which involves the design and development of 100 bite-sized digital learning challenges, marking an important step towards achieving the project’s objectives.
